How cute she is.................

Jalan-jalan @ Afamosa

At last we two had made it !, guess what ? the whole historical place around Melaka we visited a'ready. Staying Melaka for over 7 years, and that's the second time i put my step over the place that written on history. Actually, i had plan to go visit this memorial place a month ago, but only had an opportunity to visit in coincidence and extremely one simple plan. This opportunity flew when my mother shockingly giving her excuse to take a leave from taking care my daughter on wednesday and that's trapped me out. Nice, that meant i have to clear my last balance annual leave for that day and it ruin my programs to make long holiday for this Christmas. With the genius idea from my hubby as usual, i called my bos and giving him the gold reason for not coming to work that day. It's MC day, in bahasa melayu 'mahu cuti'. LOL :)). Huh!, finally settle my problem.

To tell the best part of this story, Johan is also calling his bos by giving the same idea. Wah, what a fake Sunday. It would be much prettier if we two could continue sleeping for a few hours more. Suddently, with the spontaneously idea come out from Johan " kita jalan-jalan kat A-Famosa nak ? hari ni kita jadi tourist. Bila lagi nak pegi dah lama plan ni". What is dancing inside my mind that time is, we three walk together with hand holding conneto. Terrific and it's definitely a juicy moment to be graped. We take almost an hour to get ready including with morning meals.

We reached Bandar Hilir with a short time travel. The first historical place we visit is, the nomad building A-Famosa. We take a few snapshot and give die hard post there then continue climbing st. Paul's hill. Johan is the official tourist guide to us that day. He story us about Melaka history from Parameswara until British colony era. What a story teller he is. The hill it's not what we expected at first, to be reach on top it takes a quarter of my energy to pump out. Lucky little Sheyna not making any problem, she been a good girl that day. The scenery on top was tremendously beautifull where by you can see the whole Melaka town thoroughtly ( get what i meant ? ), and that's the reason why Alfonso interested to make fortress on it. Only left on top of the hill is St. Paul church, and a dozen tombstone of colonialist from the ealier 16th century.

We relaxing the panorama about 20 minutes, taking snapshot in every scene that looks expensive value for the album. Only thing we did not find any potential ' macai ' to snapshot us together, because all seems like ' stone hand freakin ' human around there. Well nevermind, we had a lot of picture together a'ready. Then, we went to Studhuys building by walking along the narrow brae along the hill. A few snapshot taken here. Studhuys is also known as "Red building", neither do my hubby knew why they called it "Red building". Around the Studhuys locate the Umno museum, Perlembagaan museum, Ethic museum and a lot more. I did not find anything that attracts me to walk and see inside these museum, the only thing that's creates my attention is about how the colonialist capture Melaka. Who borther about ethnic, umno and other nonsense stuff.

We went to clock tower near Prostestant church, which i believe was build by the Dutch. There's nothing here, only a booth selling local product for tourist. The price they put here is double and for outsiders please concern about this, don't being corn by the corn man. What makes me interested about this area is the clock tower. Historical, classic and the building is still same exactly same like old days. The picture that i publish here is illustrated from one of the Dutch artist that landed in Melaka around 16th century. The picture was taken from pHiz.blogspot.com. Without any shameless minutes that moment, i gave a good posing hugging Sheyna to fits between my album. Good tips i can give for those who had trauma feeling snapshot picture in public place is, all you have to do is just act like outsider people (tourist i meant) and the shy feeling will dissolve easily. The weather is very hot and that gave a good reason to had ' mamak cendol '. With the good location and easy style eating that makes the ' cendol ' business is the best selling award among the stall around there. They should thank to government to allowed them park the business with that kind ' luxurious ' place.

* The mamak cendol story is over and we continue our journey.

After settle the small amount for what been ordered, we make a move. Take a few more candid snapshot and step out from clock tower area. We make decision and wanted to go to Istana Melaka museum for our last place to visit. While we walking off from the clock tower area, suddently one Melaka antique trishaw came to us and with the polite voice he asking for ride. " takpe lah pakcik, kami nak pergi depan tu je. Jalan2 pun best ", Johan reply back for giving excuse. " takpe lah, kalau begitu naik je pakcik tumpangkan ". ' tumpangkan ' ?, nothing in this world now days is free, even if you park your car on sunday's also must pay. Johan agreed with the pakcik offer and we three step in the antique trishaw and ride off from there. Sheyna smiley all the way riding the antique trishaw, maybe this is the first time she riding a vehicle that open air. " where you want to go sir ? " the pakcik asked, " Im also not very sure, maybe Memorial museum " Johan answered. I leave the talking part to Johan, Sheyna and i were just listen. " where are you come from sir ? " the pakcik asked. " we from JB and just arrived last night " Johan replied. Here we go ! i can see the pakcik trishaw face wet, maybe tired cycling the trishaw or maybe wet because Johan corn the pakcik too much. From Jb la, arrived last night la, staying in Majidee la and a lot more crab conversation between them. It takes 10 minute to reach the Memorial museum and pakcik drop us exactly in front of the main door. I saw Johan take out his wallet and gave him Rm5. I knew that Johan will do that, like i said, there's nothing such free now days. This is how the trishaw community trick their customer by offering give a free ride. After the information that they gave, the sweat that produce from them and the polite conversation they made, i'm definitely very sure every wise customer that ride their trishaw will pay.

There's nothing much at Memorial museum, only shows from beginning how Malaysia get it's independent from England. Luckily the museum air covered by air-cond and that's coolent us up from the heat outside. Original historical stuff can be found there, to whom who that did not knew anything about how Malaysia grown up from jungle to city, you all better check it out.
Istana Melaka museum is the last place to visit. We only need to pay Rm4 for both of us and the guy in charge the counter ticket booth giving us two plastics bag. Is a nasty thing happen that you have to open your shoes and put it to the plastics bag and have to carry the plastics all the way while visiting the Istana. If follow the royal custom, you must open your shoes and wear a hat to enter the Istana, maybe that's the emosional gimmick they planned to gave. There's two Malay warrior statue wait us at the main entrance of the palace, here i snap Johan with the warrior. I'm not feeling very calm about this, but Johan don't even borther and ask to continue snap. He can smile some more with the statue. It's lonely and gloomy situation welcome us at the beginning visiting the palace. Here we take a few snapshot that maybe holds a memory. The museum shows how the old Malay people built it, who was the first sultan, who is always vising the Sultan and gossips that rush the palace. Johan telling me that the Replica of Taming Sari can be found here, we tried to find but was disappointed. Maybe they stop previewing the keris to public because if followed history the taming Sari keris was lost together with Hang Tuah, then how come the keris can be found today. The other part of the Palace make us felt bored with such fake stuff that maybe is just made to full the empty space of the palace. We make a move after 30 hour visiting the palace and decided to going back home after the whole body wet and weary. I can see Sheyna feel uncomfortable after long hot travel from the beginning.
